This
quilt was made using ‘machine crazy piecing’. The colours
of each of the four provinces are mixed in with the greens. Red &
White for Ulster, Black & White / Black & Blue for Connacht, Blue
& Yellow for Munster and ‘Kelly’ Green for Leinster. The
map is then appliquéd to a dark green strip pieced background.
